For all equipments falling intocat III and IV of Directive 97/23/EC , the personnel working in NDT (Non Destructive Testing),regardlessthe of which qualification scheme is used ( ASME or UNI EN), must be approved by a recognized body, in accordance with the annex. 1 par. 3.1.3 of Directive 97/23/EC.
